Aiko nag-panic, inakalang may COVID-19

SA post ni Aiko Melendez sa kanyang Facebook account, araw ng Lunes, November 30,  inihayag ng mahusay na aktres na inakala niyang nagkaroon siya ng COVID-19!

Ayon kay Aiko…

“Ito yung araw na akala namin lahat may COVID ako. Nawalan ako ng panlasa, so nataranta na ako!”

Lunch break noon at hindi raw malasahan ni Aiko ang kinakain niyang Nori at paksiw na isda.

“Protocol is i-isolate ka agad sa set. That’s how strict GMA is kapag may symptoms ka. They made me wear PPE straight in my room until I got my test result which is negative.

“I was brought to the hospital to get my swab, And dang! That was the longest forty minutes of my Life… waited and prayed.

“Sa hospital, tinest ako sa loob ng service kasama ng ambulance.

“Hindi sila pumayag na ipasok ako sa hospital kasi meron yatang may COVID-19.

“And what got me going was while I was escorted by the ambulance, back to the set, they were all praying for me led by direk Tuding Alajar.”

Sa lock-in taping ng Prima Donnas sa Antipolo naganap ang insidente Sabado ng tanghali, November 28, at ang direktor ng naturang GMA series ay si Ms. Gina (Tuding) Alajar.

“Since I didn’t have my mom on the set, direk Gina acted as my mom, gave me all the energy boosters.”

Forty-five minutes hinintay ang resulta ng test ni Aiko at sa kabutihang-palad ay negative sa coronavirus ang aktres!

“They made sure na negative ako.

“Tapos they made me rest muna and binawasan sequences ko.”

“I’m sharing this story ‘coz being in a lock-in set-up is never easy, everyday we pray for everyone’s safety.

“Just to be able to work and give our viewers what they deserve to watch comes risks also to our health. But my Lord is bigger than any of this scare!

“I’m completely healed and surrounded with people who prays so hard. Salamat, Lord! I’m back negative! And ready to be Kendra again.”

Kendra ang pangalan ng karakter ni Aiko sa Prima Donnas, na nag-eere na ng fresh episodes.

“In a few days our last stretch of lock-in will come to end…. Can you blame me if I will surely be missing this set? We don’t know yet if there is a Book 2 so please, to our viewers, give it your best shot to watch our remaining episodes.

“Buwis-buhay episodes coming up! Like what I’ve said, times like these you’ll know who’s up for concern and up for deadma

“Ha! Ha! Ha! At least I know.”

Sa post naman ni Aiko sa Facebook araw ng Martes, December 1.

“Don’t worry! I’m all good! Tested negative!

“GMA Management made sure I was fit to work when they got my test, which was negative. I just had tonsilitis that’s why I lost my sense of taste plus I had colds. Nothing to worry, guys!

“I’m back to work. We also followed all the protocols before I reported on the set.

“But I’d be lying if I say i didn’t panic! But thanks for all those who prayed for me. Appreciate all your concerns. I have been getting so many get well messages, thank you.

“I may not be able to reply to all but please know I’m reading them. And I’m in good hands with GMA. I’m being babied here on the set. Just so blessed.

“Grabe alaga ng GMA sa akin, nag-stop taping sila tapos in-adjust nila sequences ko para hindi ako mapagod.”
