Cebu leaders dadalhin sa Palasyo si Bong Go

NANGAKO ang isang local political bloc sa Cebu City na binubuo ng Partido Barug, Partido Kusug, Panaghiusa at Marino party-list ng pagsuporta kay Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go sa pagsasabing dadalhin nila sa Palasyo ng Malacanang ang mambabatas bilang susunod na Pangulo ng bansa matapos ang May 2022 elections.
Nitong Martes, sinabi ni Cebu City Acting Mayor Michael Rama na nagpulong ang mga local candidates sa lungsod para ipahayag ang kanilang pagsuporta kay Go..

“The die has been cast. Consistent with our position to align with who President (Rodrigo) Duterte anoints to lead our country after his term, and as members of PDP-Laban, our group… in Cebu City supports (Go) for president under PDDS (Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan), Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan,” sabi ni Rama.

Naniniwala ang Cebu City mayor na ang liderato ni Go ang magpapatuloy ng mga socioeconomic measures ni Pangulong Duterte.

“Yes, we can have the continuity that we want to have. The Duterte administration has many significant programs, the Build, Build, Build that amplifies inter-connectivity is one. The campaign against drugs, corruption and criminality has also transformed our country into a golden age of good governance,” idiniin ni Rama.

Lubos namang nagpasalamat si Go sa nasabing grupo sa pagsasabing, “I am humbled and grateful to Partido Barug of Cebu City for supporting my presidential bid.”

“Your support gives me more reason to work harder to ensure our total victory. Only then can we secure the continuity of the Duterte legacy,” ani Go.

Sinabi ni Go na nasaksihan mismo ng Cebu City at ng buong lalawigan ang maraming achievements sa ilalim ng Duterte administration.

“It is in Cebu City where we established the country’s first Malasakit Center last February 2018 when I was still the Special Assistant to the President. Next to the National Capital Region, the whole Cebu province hosts six Malasakit Centers that cater to particularly poor and indigent Cebuanos,” sabi ni Go.

“Cebu, also a home province of our President, saw massive infrastructure projects, being the economic hub of central Philippines,” idinagdag ng senador.

Pinasalamatan ni Go ang lahat ng Cebuanos sa kanilang patuloy na pagsuporta sa kanya at sa Pangulo.

Samantala, sa pulong sa Palasyo kasama ang maraming mambabatas ay pormal na inendorso ni Duterte si Go bilang manok ng administrasyon sa halalan.
