HUMAKOT ng walong (8) nominasyon si singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre kasama rito ang Song of the Year para sa “Paubaya” na kasama niyang sumulat ang now-separated husband Jason Hernandez sa 13th PMPC Star Awards for Music.
Nominated din si Moira sa Album of the Year para sa “Patawad”, Female Recording Artist of the Year para sa “Patawad”, Music Video of the Year –“A Trilogy Patawad Paalam, Paalam and Patawad – Moira dela Torre feat./Belong To the Zoo and Ben & Ben, “Music Video of the Year “Paubaya”, Collaboration of the Year- kasama niya si Erik Santos (“Ikaw Pa Rin”), Collaboration of the Year (“Beautiful”) -kasama si Ogie Alcasid and Inspirational Song of the Year “Beautiful”-kasama si Ogie.
Samantala, ayon sa statement ng singer-songwriter na si Moira dela Torre, “For those of you who know my story, you can imagine the long journey of grieving and healing I have ahead of me the revelations of things that happened over the last two years have been difficult, painful and heartbreaking to process.
“In spite of the pain experiencing, let me set the record straight. While our marriage was not perfect I have stayed true to my vows and I have never cheated on Jason,” saad pa ng singer songwriter.
Sa kabila na hiwalay na sila, nasasaktan pa rin si Moira sa mga fabricated stories na malayo sa totoong story nilang dalawa.
“I only wish to put an end to the speculations regarding what happened between Jason and I though we’re no longer together. It still hurts to see fabricated stories being told about us. Most of which are so far from the truth the both of us still have a long way to go when it comes to healing and we ask for respect during this difficult time.
“I don’t know what the future holds but I hope it continues to be the that I sing even in pain- especially in pain- I will continue to place my complete trust in the one who has never let me down.
“My heart, though still navigating this unexpected season, feels full because of all of your comforting messages. To those who are going through the same journey as me, I hear you and I send you love.”
