Sean kinabog sa unang serye sa Siyete

“SIYEMPRE a little bit nervous kasi nga prime time and it’s my first project,” umpisang pahayag sa amin ng Sparkle male star na si Sean Lucas sa tanong namin kung ano ang feeling na may show na siya sa wakas, ang Luv Is: Caught In His Arms.
At ang una niyang acting stint ay sa primetime slot ng GMA mapapanood.
“Yeah, so very nervous but also with the nervousness also comes the gratefulness that we’re given with such an opportunity.
“Siguro…yeah dahil ninerbyos ako it means I prepared more and since I did more work to do Luv Is, kaya I hope that everyone is gonna watch this, they’re gonna love it.”
Paano ba na-discover si Sean at naging parte ng Sparkle ng GMA ?
“Na-discover ako actually yung Tita ko she was at a voice lesson and then vocal coach…parang sumama lang ako sa nanay ko, nagpunta kami dun, then yung vocal coach, si Sir Ronnie Lumag, he’s in Davao right now, he asked me if I wanted to be an artista, so siyempre sinabi ko oo, and I didn’t expect na it was actually a legit thing, and then he was…he actually knew Sir Dudu who passed away recently, when he met me he wanted to sign me and eventually pinag-audition niya ako sa Sparkle, and that’s how I got into Sparkle.”
Si Dudu Unay ay isang talent manager na sumakabilang-buhay nito lamang Oktubre ng nakaraang taon.
Ilan sa mga natulungan noon ni Dudu ay sina Liza Soberano, Royce Cabrera at Alden Richards.
Manager ni Sean si Dudu noong pumanaw ito kaya hanggang ngayon ay dinaramdam ito ni Sean.
“Yes, when he passed away it was actually very difficult for me, nahirapan talaga ako kasi siyempre si Sir Dudu yung kasangga ko pagdating sa showbiz, but sobrang bait din ng Sparkle kasi when he passed away in-absorb nila ako.”
Sa ngayon fully managed na ng Sparkle si Sean.
“Yes, fully managed na ko ng Sparkle.”
Ano sa palagay ni Sean ang nakita sa kanya ng Sparkle kaya kinuha siya ng naturang talent arm ng GMA Network?
“I think ano, because me, I can be funny and stupid at times,” at tumawa si Sean, “but I can also be very eloquent and smart, so siguro that duality is what they saw in me, that I can do both.”
Huminto muna si Sean sa pag-aaral.
“Right now, I plan to go back to school, because I stopped for a semester.”
Incoming second year Industrial Engineering student si Sean sa De La Salle University.
Ano ang mga expectation niya sa pagiging parte ng cast ng Luv Is: Caught In His Arms?
“Expectations siguro… actually expectations in showbiz in general, siguro wala akong expectations, kasi masaya lang ako sa opportunity na binigay sa akin.
“So whatever na mangyari I’m just grateful, siguro I’d like to hope na all of the people who are gonna watch it are gonna love it and hopefully it’ll help me improve and get me more roles in the future.”
Umere na simula kahapon, Lunes, January 16, 8:50 pm ang Luv Is: Caught In His Arms sa GMA na bida sina Sofia Pablo at Allen Ansay.
