Qualifiers para sa PH aquatics team sa Cambodia SEAG

NAKATAKDANG isagawa ang open qualifying competition ng aquatics team na kakatawan sa bansa para sa 32nd Southeast Asian Games sa Cambodia ay gaganapin sa Pebrero 18-19 sa New City Aquatics Center sa Capas,Tarlac.

Inanunsyo ng Stabililization Committee Huwebes na inatasan ang World Aquatics (dating FINA) Bureau para mangasiwa sa aquatics (swimming) sa bansa.

Sa direktiba noong December 3,2022, inutus ng FINA ang pagbou ng Stabilization Committee para e-take over ang swimming sa bansa matapos bawiin ang recognation sa Philippine Swimming Inc.

Ang Stabilization Committee ay binobou nina POC legal head Atty. Wharton Chan at deputy secretary general Valeriano”Bones” Floro at Bases Conversation Development Authority senior vice president Arrey Perez.

“The Stabilization Committee will supervise and manage the qualifiers or tryouts which is open to all athletes, clubs and stakeholders,” Wika ni Floro.

Sinabi ni Floro na ang qualifiers sa swimming,, diving at water polo. Artistic swimming (synchronized) at open water swimming ay wala sa programa ng May 5 to 17 Cambodia SEA Games.

Dagdag pa ni Floro na ang qualifiers ay isasagawa ayon sa swimming technical handbook na ibinigay ng Cambodia SEA Games Organizing Committee.
Sa handbook, kabouang 20 events ang paglalabanan sa swimming, 2 sa water polo (men and women) at ang individual 3-meter springboard at platform para sa men at women sa diving.
Ang swimming events para sa men at women ay ang freestyle 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1,500; backstroke 50, 100 and 200; breaststroke 50, 100 and 200; butterfly 50, 100 and 200; individual medley 200 and 400; at freestyle Relay 4×100 and 4×200.
