Karamihan ng events sa SEA Games gaganapin sa Phnom Penh

KARAMIHAN ng events sa 32nd Southeast Asian Games ay gaganapin sa Cambodia’s capital of Phnom Penh na nakatakdang magsimula sa Mayo 5 hanggang 16.

Kumpetisyon venues sa Phnom Penh ay ang Morodok Techno National Sports Complex (athletics – track and field; aquatics – diving, swimming at fin swimming; badminton; 5×5 at 3×3 basketball; field hockey; lawn and table tennis; at indoor volleyball), National Olympic Stadium (billiards, kickboxing, Kun Khmer, petanque, soft tennis, water polo, taekwondo, at weightlifting), Chroy Changvar International Convention and Exhibition Centre (arnis, boxing, fencing, jujitsu, judo, karate, Kun Bokator, vovinam, obstacle race, pencak silat, wrestling, at wushu), AZ Group Cricket Oval (cricket), Nagaworld 2 (e-sports), Olympic Marquee (dance sports, aerobic and artistic gymnastics), Garden City Golf Club (golf), Rong Roeung Hall (floorball and indoor hockey), NSTC Basketball Hall (sepak takraw), Federation of Youth Hall (teqball), at Royal University of Phnom Penh (chess – Ok Chaktrong and Xiangqi).

Ang Football ay lalaruin sa Morodok Techno National Stadium, Olympic Stadium, Prince Stadium, RSN Stadium, at Army Stadium sa Phnom Penh.

Ang iba pang venues ay sa Siem Reap (athletics – 20-km walk and marathon; cycling – road race and mountain bike), Sihanoukville (beach volleyball, jet ski, at sailing), Kampot (traditional boat race), at Kep (triathlon, aquathlon at duathlon).

Ang travel time mula Phnom Penh papuntang Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Kep, at Kampot ay aabot ng dalawa hanggang anim na oras.

Ang opening at closing ceremonies ay gaganapin sa Morodok Techno National Stadium, may seating capacity na 60,000.

Samantala, kumpetisyon sa 10 sports ay magsisimula bago ang opening ceremony sa Mayo 5.

Ang Footbal ay magsisimula sa Abril 29, susundan ng indoor hockey at sailing sa Mayo 1,cricket (T50/T10) sa May 2, chess (Ok Chaktrong) sa May 3, at e-sports, jujitsu, obstacle, indoor volleyball at Kun Bokator on Mayo 4.

Ang Pilipinas ay magpapadala ng 840 atleta sa Cambodia, Mas mahigit sa 656 na sumabak sa 38 sports sa 2022 Vietnam edition kung saan ang bansa ay nagtapos fourth na may 226 medals (52-70-104 gold-silver-bronze tally.

Sa 2019 Manila SEA Games ay umabot sa 1,119 Filipino athletes ang sumabak sa 56 sports.

Ang Team Philippines, na pinamumunuan ni chef de mission Chito Loyzaga at deputies Paolo Tancontian at Leonora Escollante, ang mangunguna sa formal send off ceremony sa Abril 15 sa Philippine International Convention Center sa Pasay.
