IPINAKITA ni Samantha Corpuz (gitna) ng Pilipinas ang kanyang premyo matapos magwagi sa Elite Junior Women’s Division sa 2023 Subic Bay Sprint Triathlon Championships sa Olongapo City. PINAKYAW ng Hong Kong Super Sprint Youth (13-15 years old) category ang 30th Subic Bay International Triathlon (SuBIT) sa SBMA Boardwalk Sabado.

Ang 15-year-old Nok Hei Wong tinapos ang 750m (swim)-20km (bike)-5km (run) race sa pinagsama-samang oras na 32 minutes at 05 seconds para ibulsa ang gols medal sa boys division.

Si Lok Shi Lam ang nagwagi ng silver medal sa tiyempong 33:04,habang si Kwong Hei Anson Tsang may oras na 33:07 para magkasya sa bronze medal.

Nasungkit ni Lai Ki Nicole Man, 15 ang gold medal sa girls division sa kabouang oras na 36 minutes at 17 seconds. Habang si Petra Stamenovic ang second (36:53) kasunod si Sarah Elise Modiano (37:52).

“I’m happy with the performances of our athletes. Samantala, 66 men at 48 women ang sasabak sa elite category sa paligsahan na tinaguriang “2023 NTT AST Subic Bay Cup ” Linggo.

Sinabi ni Tom Carrasco, presidente ng organizing Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP), “this is the best elites participation in years.”

Pinamunuan ng defending champion, Ren Sato ang 12-miyembro ng Japanese team kabilang ang dating runner-up nakaraang taon Ryoya Tamazaki,, Genta Uchida (5th), and Koki Yamamoto (9th).

Sasabak din si Oscar Dart ng Australia na nagtapos third, kasama si Tsz To Wong ng HongKong (4th),Jason Tai Long Ng (6th), at james Tan (10th).

Ang top finishers sa men’s at women’s elite categories ay dagdag puntos sa kanilang world at continental rankings.
