Nicky open sa lahat ng roles pero bet maging bida

ISA ang baguhang artistang si Nicky Gilbert sa mga inilunsad bilang bahagi ng tatlumpu’t dalawang newbie artists ng NET25 Star Center kamakailan.
Ano sa tingin ni Nicky ang taglay niyang mga katangian upang magtagumpay bilang isang sikat na artista?
“I think for me, my edge from the other artists in NET25 is that I’m very hardworking and dedicated in my craft, in this kind of craft, I don’t give up easily and I know that it’s not enough, I will make it my best, 100 percent or more than a hundred percent coz I know that I can do it and I know that I can be a star.”
Saan nais ni Nicky na malinya bilang aktres?
“Actually, of course, bida, di ba po? Pero I heard some news that bagay din po sa akin maging kontrabida.
“But I’m open, I’m flexible to any roles actually.”
Sina Nicky at Sofi Fermazi ay parehong co-managed ng NET25 at ng GLEAM Artists Management (under MPJ Entertainment Productions) ng direktor na si Perry Escaño.
Gaano sila ka-close ni Sofi?
“Actually, for me, I don’t treat her like a friend, I treat her like a sister, I’m her older sister,” nakangiting pahayag ni Nicky.
May mga gagawin silang teleserye sa NET25 at isang youth-oriented show, ang StarKada na mala-That’s Entertainment.
“We heard that maybe it’s gonna be like That’s Entertainment or like a musical prod, but like Glee or High School Musical type.
“Yeah, that’s the first idea that they went through, yung sinabi nila sa amin, but we are looking forward as to what kind of shows they are giving us.
“So nakaka-excite lang, so any kind of genre, any kind of ideas that they want, we’re in.”

NAKILALA sa mga serye ng GMA tulad ng Beautiful Justice, Nakarehas Na Puso at Hearts On Ice bilang batang Xian Lim ang Kapuso child actor na si Franchesko Maafi o Choco.
Ngayon, level-up pa siya dahil bida siya sa isang pelikulang kaliwa’t.kanan na ang block screening, ang The Special Gift.
Nagkuwento si Choco kung paano siya napasok sa showbiz.
“Nung una po muna nag-commercial po muna ako, tapos nag-audition na rin po ako sa mga teleserye.”
Nakapasok naman siya sa The Special Gift dahil ang assistant director ng pelikula ay nakatrabaho na ni Choco dati sa isang GMA teleserye na siyang nag-refer sa batang actor sa producer ng pelikula.
Nahirapan ba si Choco sa role niya sa The Special Gift?
“Lahat naman po siguro mahihirapan po, pero dahil po meron kaming magaling na direktor, natuturuan po niya kami kung paano yung tricks para hindi po masyadong ano, pero lahat naman po mahihirapan talaga dun sa role,” pakli ni Choco.
Kasama rin sa The Special Gift sina Mike Lloren, Migui Moreno, Malou Canzana. Romina Cauilan, Ella Sheen, ang newbie actor na si Angelo Gomez, at ang young actor na si BJ “Tolits” Forbes; may special participation dito si Soliman Cruz.
Ang The Special Gift ay sa panulat ni Erick Castro, with Mr. Roy Gomez as executive producer (ng RC Gomez Entertainment Productions), at sa direksyon ni Lawrence Roxas.
