La Salle, UST kampeon sa UAAP basketball

NASUNGKIT ng De la Salle University ang UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball title matapos gulatin ang University of the Philippines (UP),73-69, sa deciding game 3 ng kanilang title series sa Araneta Colesium Miyerkules ng gabi.

Kevin Quiambao, tinanghal na Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) nagtapos ng 24 points, tampok ang apat na triples, at nine rebounds, four assists, at two blocks para sa Green Archers, na pinantay ang series sa 82-86 victory sa Game 2.

Evan Nelle nagdagdag ng 12 points, seven assists, six rebounds ,two steals, at one block habang si Jonnel Policarpio at Mark Nonoy bumakas ng tig-8 puntos.

Malick Diouf umiskor ng 21 points,14 rebounds, two steals, two assists, at one block.

Francis Lopez nagdagdag ng 12 points, nine rebounds, four steals, three blocks,at three assists, habang si Harold Alarcon nag-ambag ng 10 points para sa UP.

“I’m so grateful and honored to be a part of this amazing group of guys. Also, we have to credit the coaches who came before me and built this team. Sinalpak ni Villasin ang crucial basket sa huling 11.8 segundo para itapon ng Growling Tigresses ang National University (NU) Lady Bulldogs,71-69,sa Game 3 ng kanilang best -of-three title series.

Nakuha ng UST ang Game 1,76-72,habang nagwagi ang NU sa Game 2, 72-70.

Reynlyn Ferrer, tinanghal na Finals MVP, nagtapos ng 19 points,14 rebounds,two steals, at one block para sa UST,

Season 85 MVP Krstine Cayabyab pinamunuan ang NU sa iniskor na 18 points.
