Michael ginagawang positive ‘pag naba-bash

ARAW-araw nagpapasalamat sa Diyos si Michael Sager dahil sa magandang takbo ng kanyang showbiz career, isa na rito ang pagiging leading man niya ni Jillian Ward sa My Ilonggo Girl sa GMA.

“It’s an important reminder to really be thankful for this.

“I thank the Lord every day, and I’m grateful, and I don’t want to take it for granted.

“Kasi nga I didn’t expect this po, unexpected itong My Ilonggo Girl, but masaya ako and for me, it’s just a reminder to really give it my all.

“Kasi sayang ang opportunity, I mean, the network entrusted me with such a big project, partner ko pa si Jill.

“So sabi ko, there’s no time to waste na.

“It’s my time to really step up, and do better in my craft. Lahat ng mga comments sa mga past work ko, sa Shining Inheritance, binabasa ko lahat so that I can really improve.

“Kasi kung naba-bash man ako, I don’t want to see it super negatively. I want to see it positively na, okay, that’s where I can improve, and that’s what I want to apply.”

Bukod kina Michael at Jillian ay tampok sa My Ilonggo Girl sina Teresa Loyzaga, Arra San Agustin, Lianne Valentin, Arlene Muhlach at Ms. Carla Martinez.

SAKSES ang Zumba King na si Ron Antonio sa kanyang annual Zumba event niya na tinawag na Wow Zayaw sa Quezon Memorial Circle grounds kamakailan.

“Alright, we’re here because we do this annually, we do this yearly. So this year we call it Wow Zayaw because of all the you know, all the achievements and everything that we’ve done for the past 8 years in Zumba.

Nakapagtala si Ron sa Guinness Book Of World Records noong 2018 ng record-breaking Zumba event na dinaluhan ng halos fourteen thousand participants na ginanap sa Pili sa Camarines Sur.

Isa sa mga kantang tinutugtog habang nagsu-Zumba ang mga participants ay ang Zayaw Mundo na si Ron ang sumulat at umawit.

“I was inspired to create this song, this album, kasi I had a very successful Zayaw Canada tour last year and I’m coming back this 2025.”

Tungkol saan ang Zayaw Mundo?

“It’s about yung mga kababayan natin sa ibang bansa, na we’d like to bring Zayaw, hindi lang yung mga kababayan natin pati yung ibang lahi na nasa ibang bansa.

“To bring Zayaw Pilipinas to them, dalin namin yung saya at yung pagmamahal, yung love from the Philippines to their country, respective countries.”

“Instead of just getting songs from YouTube, I create my own music.

“It’s all in the streaming platforms like Spotify, Deezer, YouTube, TikTok, all of the platforms.”

Si Ron lamang ang tanging Filipino zumba instructor at recording artist na nakapag-record at nag-release ng mga Zumba-inspired OPM albums, tulad ng Zayaw Pilipinas (2016), Pinas Zayaw (2018), Pinas Zayaw Remix (2020), Zayaw Remix (2021) at nito ngang December 1, 2024 ni-release ang Zayaw Mundo.

Para sa mga hindi pa nakasubok ng Zumba, ano ang maaaring sabihin ni Ron bilang pangungumbinsi sa mga ito?

“Yes, they have to try it because it’s fun. Nakakatanggal ng stress. Kaya nakikita niyo yung mga ladies, happy lang sila, enjoy. Nakakalimutan nila yung problema nila and of course, it’s good for the heart and it’s good cardio exercise.”
