WITH much love and passion, Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista continues his commitment to captivate audiences with his music, artistry, and unwavering dedication to his craft, as he renews his partnership with GMA Network on May 6.
Present during the event were GMA Network President and Chief Executive Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, Officer-in-Charge for Entertainment Group and Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, and NYMA Chief Operating Officer and Christian’s wife Kat Bautista.
Also in attendance were First Vice President and Head of International Operations Joseph T. Francia, First Vice President for Radio Operations Group Glenn F. Allona, Vice President for Comedy, Infotainment, Game, and Reality Productions Janine Piad-Nacar, Vice President for Musical, Variety, Specials, and Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, Consultant for the Entertainment Group Darling De Jesus-Bodegon, and other Network officers. Making this milestone even more special was the presence of Christian’s parents, Ebert and Jo Bautista.
Christian expressed his gratitude to the Network that has been his home throughout the years, ”Maraming salamat sa pagtitiwala. It’s really overwhelming to be standing here today. I’ve been part of GMA for over a decade, almost half of my entire career. But it never gets old and it never gets less meaningful.”
Looking back at the successful two decades, Christian has been very passionate in pursuing his dreams and creating a mark in the industry. He even took a big step in helping other artists through NYMA, which became the platform for artists, content creators, and entertainers to nurture their gifts and thrive in their own space.
While doing this, Christian continues to soar higher, being recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Filipinos in the world by The Outstanding Filipinos in America (TOFA), which honors remarkable Filipinos, including leaders, artists, and advocates who are making significant impacts both locally and globally. This highlights his impactful contributions to the Philippine music and entertainment industry, his popularity in Indonesia, and his philanthropic efforts through World Vision Philippines.
When it comes to his acting career, Christian continues to portray diverse roles, one of which is his recent TV series, “How To Cheat Death,” where he plays Doc Madiaga. He also continues to be a resident judge of “The Clash,” which will launch on GMA this June, as well as being a main cast in the top-rating Sunday noontime variety show, “All-Out Sundays.”
While he’s busy with local shows, Christian is also active in his international engagements. As one of Indonesia’s well-loved pop artists, he was invited by Tomita Entertainment in Jakarta to perform alongside the international band All-4-One.
Asia’s Romantic Balladeer is set to achieve greater heights as he continues his journey with GMA Network. Congratulations.
