Father and daughter won in the Amader International Short Film Festival 2026 in Kolkata, India that has brought together filmmakers from diverse cultures and creative backgrounds.

PX, or Paulo Xavier, Ilano won best director while Elia Ilano won best actress and TERESA won best drama film. Symon de Lena also best actor for the said movie.

Out of 15,678 submissions received this season, the film TERESA has “emerged among a select group recognized by the jury”.

The film TERESA reflects distinction in craft, clarity of vision, and a cinematic voice that resonates beyond borders.

Elia Ilano also won best child actress in the recently concluded 1st PAFTA awards held at historic Manila Hotel.
