Mara Aragon successful ang Pan De Coco Part-2 fundraising concert

MATAGUMPAY ang fundraising concert ni Mara Aragon na ginanap last December 17, titled Pan De Coco Part-2. Naglalayon itong makatulong sa mga taga-Rodriguez, Rizal na binayo ng Bagyong Ulysses.

Kabilang sa mga guest niya sa concert ang The Pandemic Band, Supreme Boys, Ms. Gwen Fourniol, Vhize Nhegra, Abigail Britan, Jenilyn Fernandez, Arnold Urtola, Janine Halasan, at Tubbie Padilla.

Samantala, hindi man pinalad ang talented na singer na si Mara sa 33rd Aliw Awards na ginanap noong December 15, masaya pa rin siya na mapabilang sa mga nominado.

Si Mara ay na-nominate as Best New Artist of the Year.

Ipinahayag niya ang labis na katuwaan sa blessing na natamo.

“Sobrang surreal po sa feeling, kasi po kilala po yung Aliw Awards na nagbibigay po ng karangalan sa mga kilalang artista, and yet I am one of the nominees. Until now po, medyo unbelievable pa rin po, na-overwhelm po ako, pero sobrang nakakatuwa po.

“It would always be an honor to be one of the nominees in the Aliw Awards and a memory to keep. I would also like to thank Ms. Elizabeth Oshiro for seeing and discovering my talent which lead me to be one of the nominees in the said award.”

Pahabol pa ni Mara, “Sobrang nagpapasalamat po ako sa opportunity na ito and it leaves a message to everyone that those with the talent will be recognized in their time.”

Si Mara ay 1st year Communication student sa UST. Magre-release siya ng single next year entitled, I Wanna Run. Ito ay komposiyon ng the late Eloy Fernandez and produced by Studio Outback Digital Music Record Company.

Maaari rin siyang mapanood sa Facebook live na NagMARAhal’ every Saturday night sa kanyang official FB page na Mara Aragon.

“Iyong NagMARAhal po is actually a Facebook Live that aims po to entertain the viewers by singing and at some selected episodes, puwede rin po akong magbasa ng letter from the viewers and some daily recommendations parang somewhat similar to entertainment TV-radio shows po.

“Sometimes po, nag-i-invite ako ng guest but most of the episodes po is mag-isa lang po ako,” esplika pa ni Mara.

Dagdag pa niya, “Mayroon po akong album na Tanging Hiling which will be reuploaded on digital music platforms po. Six po iyong kanta, iyong isa po sariling komposisyon ko po. Yung mismong title track po na Tanging Hiling pero in-arrange po ng LJ Music Lab.

“Yung four po na kanta, composed and arranged po ng LJ Music Lab. Yung isa po, isinulat ko yung kanta pero may tulong po ni sir Ricky Ursua at arrangement ng musical producer ko po. Yung album po is produced by MMA Talent Promotion Services po.”
