‘Online game show’ inireklamo

INIREKLAMO ang mga opisyal ng lokal na pamahalaan ng San Pascual, Batangas sa Office of the Ombudsman, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) at sa Civil Service Commission (CSC), dahil sa umano’y paglabag sa Republic Act 6713 o Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, dahil sa ginawang “online game show” habang nasa oras ng trabaho.
Sa tatlong-pahinang reklamo na ipinadala sa tanggapan nina Ombudsman Samuel Martires, DILG Secretary Eduardo Año, at CSC Chairperson Alicia Dela Rosa Bala, hiniling na patawan ng preventive suspension sina San Pascual, Batangas Vice Mayor Isagani “Willy” Dimatactac, Konsehala Lanifel Manalo at iba pang kasama sa “online game show.”
“After due notice and hearing, judgement be rendered ordering the dismissal from service respondent Vice Mayor Isagani “Willy” Dimatactac, Councilor Lanifel Manalo for Grave Misconduct and Conduct Prejudicial to the Best Interest of the Service, together with the cancellation of all his eligibilities, forfeiture of his retirement benefits, perpetual disqualification from public office and taking civil service examinations,” ayon sa reklamo.
Sinabi sa reklamo na nag-post ng imbitasyon sa Facebook si Dimatactac para sa tinatawag “Pandemya Online Game” kung saan siya ang magiging host at sponsor ng premyo.
“While ordinarily this kind of activity is welcomed during pandemic, this is sanctioned and strictly prohibited if done during office hours. The civil service commission has declared that this is illegal and against the law,” ayon pa sa reklamo.
Maituturing rin umano itong pag-aksaya sa panahon at pera ng gobyerno.
“The abuse of power and wanton disregard and wastage of government time and resources, that warrant dismissal from service together with the cancellation of their eligibilities, forfeiture of his retirement benefits, perpetual disqualification from public office,” sinabi sa reklamo.
Sinubukan namang kuhanan ng pahayag ang kampo ni Dimatactac pero wala pa itong mga sagot habang isinusulat ang balitang ito.
