Lt. Gen. Centino bagong AFP chief of staff

PORMAL nang nanumpa si Lt. Gen. Andress Centino bilang ika-57 Chief of Staff ng Armed Forces of the Philippine kapalit ni Gen. Jose Fautino Jr. na nagretiro sa serbisyo sa edad 56 kahapon sa ginanap na change of command sa Camp Aguinaldo Quezon City.

Si Centino ay cum laude na kabilang sa Philippine Military Academy Maringal class 1988 at 64th Commanding General ng Philippine Army bago naitalagang bagong AFP Chief of Staff.

Humawak ng iba’t ibang posisyon sa AFP si Centino bilang commander ng 4th Infantry Division na itinanghal na best Army Unit noong 2020, commander ng 26th Infantry Division, Secretary Army General Staff, Chief of Staff 4th Infantry Division, Commander ng 401st Infantry Brigade at Deputy Chief of Staff for Operation, J3 AFP.



Si Centino ay sumailalim sa local at foreign training tulad ng Basic Airborne Course, Infantry Officer Basic Course and Advanced Course; VIP Security Operation Training, Scout Ranger Course, kung saan nag top ito sa kanyang mga kaklase. Counter Intelligence Operation Course, Intelligence Officer Course; Military Intelligence Collection Course at Training Development Course.

Nagtapos din si Centino ng Command and General Staff ‘course sa AFP Command and General Staff College.

Nagtapos din si Centino ng master Degree in Management sa University of the Philippines at Master of Science in National Resource Strategy sa National Defense University Washington DC US. Graduate ng Strategic Business Economic Program sa University of Asia and the Pacific. Tumanggap din ng mga parangal na kabilang 4 na Distinguished Service Star, Gols Cross Medal, Silver Cross Medal, at Bronze Cross Medal. (Mark Obleada)
