Senado sarado mula Enero 10-16 dahil sa pagtaas ng covid case

IPINAG-UTOS ni Senate President Vicente Sotto III ang pagsasara ng Senado mula Enero 10-16, 2022 dahil sa nakaaalarmang pagtaas ng mga nagpositibo sa COVID-19. Ito ay base na rin sa naging rekomendasyon ng Medical and Dental Bureau.
Sa ngayon, mayroong 46 na COVID-19 positive cases sa Senado habang 175 na empleyado at staff ang naka-quarantine.
“Medical has sent a memo recommending seven days of total closure of the Senate from January 10 (Monday) to January 16 (Sunday). They will conduct thorough disinfection and this will lessen contact among employees to prevent or slow down virus transmission,” sabi ni Sotto.
“I will heed the call of the medical team! Will order it now,” wika pa niya.
Ayon pa kay Sotto, limang miyembro kasi ng medical bureau ang naka-quarantine sa kasalukuyan.
Walang sinuman ang papayagang makapasok sa Senado sa nasabing panahon maliban kung may pahintulot mula sa Office of the Senate President o Office of the Secretariat.
Dapat din aniya ay may koordinasyon sa Senate Sergeant-at-Arms.
