Ex-Gov. Teves nagpasa ng ‘waiver of confidentiality’ sa DOJ

IPINAHAYAG ni dating Negros Oriental governor Pryde Henry Teves nitong Huwebes, Marso 30 na nagpasa na siya ng waiver of confidentiality sa Department of Justice (DOJ) upang masuri ng mga imbestigador ang kanyang bank accounts at komunikasyon.

“I already signed my waiver of confidentiality. I submitted it to the local DOJ provincial office yesterday personally. Then I sent through LBC another straight to the office of Secretary Remulla,” pahayag ni Teves.

Ani Teves, maging ang board ng kanyang kompanya na HDJ Agriventures, gumawa na ng resolusyon upang buksan sa mga awtoridad ang bank accounts at komunikasyon ng kanyang korporasyon.

Matatandaan na ang kapatid ni Teves na si suspended Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo Teves Jr., ang iniuugnay sa pagpatay kay Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo noong Marso 4 nang sabihin ng mga salarin na nahuli na isang “Cong Teves” ang nag-utos sa kanila na patayin ang gobernador.

Kasunod ng raid na ikinasa sa compound ng HDJ Agriventures, sinabi ng mga awtoridad na nakuha nila ang isang mapa ng bahay ni Degamo at larawan ng pamilya nito mula sa isa sa mga naarestong suspek.

Kinilala ang suspek na si Nigel Electona, dating pulis na nasibak sa serbisyo noong 2017 dahil sa kaugnayan sa illegal na droga.

Ani Henry Teves, si Electona ay “the licensee of the security agency that I gave a contract to supply security services to the mill.”

Anang dating gobernador, nasurpresa siya nang matagpuan ang isang improvised explosive device (IED) sa compound, gayong allergic siya sa bomba dahil isa siyang bomb attack survivor.

“Biktima ako ng IED if you remember. I am a bombing survivor, the scars on my whole body reveal it. Seven people perished. I almost lost my life. I spent 35 days in coma. Seven months before I could walk again, and two and a half years before I was completely rehab with 22 operations no less kaya allergic ako dyan sa IED,” pagbabahagi ni Teves.

“Ako as president, had I known there was something like I would be the first one to have it either diffused or thrown away kasi delikado yan,” dagdag niya.

Para kay Teves, dapat magpaliwanag ang security agency sa mga natagpuang armas at bala sa compound.

Kaugnay naman sa akusasyong idinadawit ang kanyang nakatatandang kapatid, sinabi ni Teves na bilang kapatid, naniniwala siyang walang kaugnayan si Rep. Teves sa pagkamatay ni Degamo.

“Of course, as a brother, I will always like to believe na hindi, siyempre kapatid ako, kuya ko yan e. Hindi ko siya pinapapauwi dahil sa sinasabi ko na naiipit ako, pinapauwi ko siya aksi yung buong pamilya namin,” aniya.

“If thorough investigation would be done, getting all these connections between who and what and logistics and of course money, because operations like these need money. If that can be all traced, then definitely, the money trails, communication trails, and logistics trails will lead to who is behind this,” pagpapatuloy nito.
