29th Defense and Sporting Arms sa Mayo 25

MAS kapana-panabik na programa ang matutunghayan sa ilalargang 29th Defense and Sporting Arms sa Mayo 25-29 sa bago at mas malaking venue na SMX Convention Center sa Pasay City.

Inaasahan ng Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers Inc., (AFAD) na muling pinamumunuan ni Alaric Topacio ang all-out na partisipasyon mula sa mga exhibitors at miyembro na patuloy na nagpapalas at nagtataguyod para sa responsableng pagmamay-ari ng baril.

Tatampukan ni enador Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa kasama ang mga matataas na opisyal mula sa Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines, at Executive Department ay mga imbitadong panauhin sa opening ceremony na itinakda alas-10:00 ng umaga.

Sinabi ni Topacio na bukod sa karaniwang aktibidad sa pag-renew ng mga lisensya at aplikasyon para sa mga bagong rehistradong may-ari ng baril sa ilalim ng mahigpit na koordinasyon sa PNP, ang mga kalahok ay may pagkakataong dumalo sa mga seminar tungkol sa kaligtasan ng baril, seguridad, at responsableng pagmamay-ari ng baril.

“Education and the promotion of responsible gun ownership is one of the main goals of AFAD. We must continue to promote responsible gun ownership as animosity towards firearms has always been there,” saad ni Topacio.
