Luis ‘di na babalik bilang host ng ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’, nirekomenda sina Robi, Donny, Edward, at Enchong

HABANG lalong tumitindi ang balitang muling magbabalik ang reality talent competition na Pilipinas Got Talent, nilinaw ni Luis Manzano na hindi na siya magho-host nito this year.

After a five-year hiatus, ang host nitong si Luis ay parang napagod na since five seasons na rin naman siyang naghu-host nito since 2010.

Sabi niya, why not give it to the new generation?

Kung pipili siya ng bagong host, who would it be for him?

“Nakikita ko, puwede na, puwedeng si Robi, si Donny, si Edward, si Enchong, napakarami. It’s about time na ibigay na yung mga ganung shows.”

He was referring to Robi Domingo, Donny Pangilinan, Edward Barber, and Enchong Dee.

Dinagdag pa ni Luis na iniiwasan na raw niya ang mga franchise reality shows, and hopes to have a game show of his own.

Idinagdag pa ng 42-year-old star, “Whatever we did sa It’s Your Lucky Day, na original game show, ang nananalo yung mga taong bayan, ang mga ka-Lucky.

Yun ang gusto kong magtuluy-tuloy for 2024.”

Isa pang project that he’s looking forward to is a project with his mom, Vilma Santos.

“May mga usap-usapan din, actually…may sitcom na napag-uusapan. Pero we’ll see how that goes,” pagtatapos ni Luis.

Napakabait ni Monet Lu!

MATAGAL ko na siyang nababasa actually. Way back in the late 80s, I would read articles about him written by my idol Alfie Lorenzo.

Ngayong nawala na si Alfie, I was surprised when I discovered that he is watching the vlogs of Peter Ledesma and I.

Nagulat ako. So, this is the Monet Lu that I used to read at Alfie’s column way back during the late 80s up the year that he died.

Anyhow, buong akala ko’y matanda na siya. You could just image my surprise when I paid his Facebook a visit and discovered that he looks relatively young.

Anyway, he still has the same business, a beauty salon which is still flourishing up to this day in spite of the cutthroat competition.

Natutuwa rin ako na naging kaibigan ko na rin siya dahil parang nararamdaman kong part siya ng pagkatao ni Mama Alfie.

Welcome into my world Monet Lu. And here’s hoping that our friendship would last forever.

Sobrang nag-iilusyon si Marianita!

Hahahahahahaha! Porke’t naka-ending sila ni Dingdong Dantes sa katatapos palang na MMFF, super mega proud si Marianing na nagtop grosser ang kanilang pelikula. Hahahahahahaha!

Tingnan ko nga kung maging box-office hit pa ang susunod nilang pelikula.

Natatandaan ko pa kung papanong naging mega-flop ang pelikula nila ni Ai-Ai delas Alas many years ago.

Na naging dahilan para hindi na siya bigyan ng magagandang proyekto ng GMA.

Hindi nga ba’t matagal na nalagay siya sa Sunday episode ng GMA? Bwahahahahahahaha!

Well, I’m going to look if she would be able to maintain her box-office power in her succeeding projects. Hahahahahahaha!
