4 admin staff kulong sa `investment scam’

Kulong ang apat na babae sa kasong P50 million syndicated estafa para sa investment sa Rosales, Pangasinan noong Lunes ng hapon.

Ayon kay Rosales Police Station (RPS)  assistant investigator P/Master Sgt. Gemma Reyes, ang mga suspek nasa edad 21 at 25 at mayroong arrest warrant na ibinaba ng Rosales regional trial court (RTC), Branch 53 noong June 28 kung saan walang inirekomendang piyansa para sa kanilang paglaya.

“They were admin (administrative) staff. They transacted with the investors. Their scheme was to double or triple the investment money of the victims,” ani Reyes.

Hinikayat naman ni Pangasinan Police Provincial Office information officer P/Capt. Renan dela Cruz ang nabiktima ng mga suspek na maghain ng demanda.

Ayon sa pulisya, nagduda ang mga biktima dahil ang ipinangako ng suspek na lalago ang kanilang na-invest na pera at biglang nahinto.

“They would invest a certain amount and it would generate income in a matter of days without them doing anything. At first, they were receiving the promised amount but eventually, it stopped and they could no longer get their money back,” ayon pa kay Dela Cruz.
