Hindi man lang sila pinakawalan to give them a chance to survive. It is so heartbreaking to see that life is not being valued and respected,” sabi ng isa sa nag-post ng mga larawan na Patchi, Orange & Friends.

“PAWS is deeply saddened and appalled by news of the death of impounded animals in the San Juan City Pound. An unverified number of dogs and cats drowned in their cages during the onslaught of Typhoon Carina,” pahayag nila.

“PAWS stands in solidarity with all outraged animal lovers who have painfully watched the video of the extremely silent pound submerged in water with a lone surviving dog standing on top of the cages.

“There was no sign of any employee in the facility taking any action to free the animals nor of any one calling for help from ordinary citizens in the area to help save them. The animals were left behind like pieces of furniture,” dagdag pa nito.
