SINUGOD sa hospital si Gary Valenciano nang nasa kalagitnaan na ng kanyang concert na ginanap sa Araneta Coliseum last Friday night, December 20.

Nagpe-perforn si Mr. Pure Energy sa harap ng kanyang fans sa Araneta Coliseum despite battling an illness.

Ang wife niyang si Angeli Pangilinan disclosed details of his condition on the first night of his “Pure Energy: One More Time” concert.

Ayon kay Angeli, sa reherseals pa lang with SB19 ay masama na raw Ang condition ng singer.

Katunayan na-delay daw ang concert but he still went on with the show, with doctors on standby backstage.

“He ingested something and vomited so many times in the last two hours. He wasn’t sure he could do this concert. The doctors were backstage and he had an IV … and he said he wants to do it! But he has since sang six songs.. changing the repertoire … please continue to pray,” wika ni Angeli.

Hindi niya tahasang sinabi kung ano ang talagang specific illness ni Gary V.

Ang alam ng lahat na noon pa man ay may diabetes na ang singer since he was 14 years old.

Katunayan binahagi pa ni Gary kung pano ang pag-mamanage na kanyang ginagawa sa kanyang diabetes.

“Diabetes can be deceiving of all illnesses. Sometimes, you think you’re ok, but things can be going on inside of you if you don’t take care of yourself the way you should.”

“It was my faith that has kept me going up here (mind), up in here (heart). And I’ve been provided with a lot of things that have been able to make things easier. And I say easier because it is a challenge to take care of diabetes,” sambit ng singer.

However, Valenciano failed to finish his concert. Midway through the show, his team decided to bring the singer to the hospital.

Ayon kay Angeli, her husband was seriously dehydrated after he ate or took something that caused him to throw up so many times.

He was discouraged to do the show but insisted.

Nakakanta pa raw ito ng pito o walo saka nagsabi sa audience kung okey bang tapusin ang show ng maaga.

Pero, in-assure niya ang mga fans na okay siya.

“Hey guys I’m getting better. Good people taking care of me. I’ll be okay, don’t worry. God bless!”

There were also “accidents” before the concert, his wife said, even as she appealed for prayers.

“Our accounting clerk broke her arm, then our technical director just broke his arm too … and now the main man (Valenciano) … please whisper a prayer for him! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens him. In Jesus’ name.”

OGIE AT VHONG NAG-AMBAG PAMBAYAD PAGPAPAGAWA
NG BAHAY NG CONTESTANT SA IT’S SHOWTIME

NAG-ambag sina Vhong Navarro at Ogie Alcasid sa pagpapagawa ng bahay ng isang contestant sa segment ng And The Breadwinner Is.

Nag-contribute ang dalawang It’s Showtime hosts ng payment para sa pagpapagawa ng bahay ng contestant.

Agad na tumulo ang luha nito nang marinig na tutulungan siya nina Ogie at Vhong.

Needless to say, many were touched by Vhong and Ogie’s kind-hearted souls and generosity.

“Mahirap yung walang bubong eh,” ani Ogie.

Sa comment section, netizens could not help but tear up upon hearing Carlo’s (contestant name) story as well. “Nagulat na lang ako naiyak na ako,” sabi nag isang commenter.
