Senatorial candidate, Camille Villar, went on market tours in Laguna on Tuesday as she continues her campaign for the May 2025 midterm elections.
Villar took time to check on the plight of vendors at the Pila and Sta. Cruz public markets in Laguna where she also vowed to prioritize measures that will help address the impact of market forces on the prices of commodities.
Villar, who has been espousing entrepreneurship, underscored the need to give market vendors access to capital to boost their income.
“Nararamdaman natin ang inyong pangagailangan. Patuloy natin kayong tutulungan para mas lalong umasenso tayo,” she said.
