Ni Oggie Medina
After Australia and Brazil, Teresa has now been officially selected for its 3rd international film festival screening, and now it’s INDIA at the Amader International Short Film Festival 2025.
Amader International Short Film Festival builds community around short films and supports creative voices outside mainstream cinema. It is a film festival dedicated mainly to short films, typically narratives, documentaries, animations, or experimental cinema of shorter duration, presented in an international or multi-national context. It showcases creative and artistic short films from filmmakers around the world.
At its core, Teresa speaks about gender inequality, a reality that exists in different forms across cultures and societies. Having this film screened on another international film festival gives the message a wider platform, opening conversations, challenging norms, and encouraging empathy beyond language and geography. Cinema becomes more than art; it becomes a voice for awareness and change.
Good luck, PX Ilano and Elia Ilano!
