CONGRATS P/MAJ.GENERAL BENJAMIN ACORDA JR,NEW PNP CHIEF!

It did’nt came as a surprise to us ang naging desisyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na hirangin bilang bagong Philippine National Police (PNP) chief si Major General Benjamin Casuga Acorda Jr. a.k.a “The Humble Servant”!

Ang mabunying heneral ay nagsilbing hepe ng PNP Directorate for Intelligence prior to his appointment at miyembro ng Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Sambisig Class of 1991.

Marami sa mga kapwa opisyal ni Gen.Acorda ang saludo sa pagkakatalaga dito sa mamang heneral na kilala sa pagiging certified workaholic at responsible police officer.

Gaya ni outgoing PNP chief, General Rodolfo Azurin Jr, isang Ilocano, native of Ilocos Norte at ikalawang “appointee” ni PBBM bilang hepe ng PNP after being elected as president of the republic sa nakaraang May 9, 2022 national elections.

Si Acorda ang ika-29th na nahirang bilang PNP chief.

Ang labis na kahanga-hanga dito kay Gen. Acorda ay ang kanyang pagiging humble at low key person despite his remarkable achievements and accomplishments.

Mapagkumbaba at sadya napakabuting tao maging sa kanyang mga tauhan at kapwa opisyal.

Naging PNP Palawan Provincial Director si Acorda from 2014-2016, at naging Regional Director ng PNP-PRO10 sa Mindanao.

Gen. Acorda was also one of the officials who pioneered the creation of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group.

As an officer of the unit, he was among those recognized by China and Taiwan for launching a major anti-cybercrime operation in the country which led to the arrest of hundreds of Chinese and Taiwanese nationals involved in cyber-crimes.

Abroad, Acorda is a member of the United Nations Blue Helmets or police officers who have been deployed twice as members of the Philippine contingent in the UN peacekeeping operations in Haiti. He occupied a directorial position in the UN mission and supervised law enforcement officers from foreign countries like Jordan, China, Canada, Russia, Columbia, Nepal, Ghana and the United States.

Kaya kung sino man ang kukuwestiyon sa paghirang na ito ni PBBM sa isang simple, literally unknown and assuming police officer, baka nagkakamali kayo!

Actually, best choice itong si Acorda para sa top post ng pambansang kapulisan.

Hindi produkto ng media hype or publicity ito si Acorda.

Dugo at pawis ang naging puhunan ng mamang heneral para marating ang kanyang kinaroroonan niya ngayon.

He inched his way to the top through hardship, dedication and perseverance.

Tahimik lamang at mapagkumbabang tao.

Literal na nagtrabho nang tahimik at walang yabang.
