Suplay ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 vaccine limitado – Galvez

KINUMPIRMA ni National Task Force Against COVID-19 Chief Implementer at Vaccine Czar Sec. Carlito Galvez na limitado lang kasi ang supply ng bakuna kaya mabagal ang pagpoproseso nito.
Sinabi rin ni Galvez na umaarangkada pa rin ang paglakad niya sa mga negosasyon ng “supply agreement” sa mga COVID-19 vaccine manufacturer.
Nilinaw ni Galvez na kumplikadong proseso ang mga supply agreement dahil kailangan pa nitong magpresenta ng mga detalye ukol sa pagbayad at petsa ng deli-very.
Samantala, panatag si Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque na nakumpleto na umano ng pamahalaan ang unang set requirement para sa COVAX vaccine.
“The entire vaccine cluster, with our Vaccine Czar Sec. Charlie Galvez at the helm, is doing everything to secure cost-effective vaccines for the Philippines at the soonest possible time. In the meantime, with the arrival of vaccines from the COVAX Facility just around the corner, our attention and efforts are focused towards ensuring the country’s readiness to roll out the vaccines,” ani Duque.
