ITINALAGA bilang officer-in-charge ng Philippine National Police si deputy chief for Administration Police Lt. General Guillermo Eleazar matapos magpositibo sa Covid-19 si PNP chief General Debold Sinas na ngayon ay nasa quarantine facility na.
Pahayag ni Eleazar, bilang bahagi ng protocol, siya na muna ang tatayong lider ng pambansang pulisya.
“Following the unfortunate incident wherein our Chief PNP, General Debold M. Sinas, tested positive for coronavirus, I was designated as the OIC, PNP as a matter of protocol. As OIC PNP, I will be taking over the affairs of the PNP temporarily and until such time that our Chief PNP fully recovers,” ayon kay Eleazar.
Sa ngayon, mayos naman ang kondisyon ni Sinas.
