Baseball Celebrity Cup 2026… HATS OFF LBP,WOPSY, PEPE & KEIJI!

PAGKAHABA man ng kumperensiya na madalas na naudlot dulot ng sungit ng panahon ay umabot din sa championship at naging matagumpay ang ligang itinatag ng baseball buddy- buddy na sina LBP Chairman Wopsy Zamora at President Pepe Munoz.

Nakamit ng Keiji Katayama Baseball Association ( KBA) Stars ang pinakamimithi nitong kampeonato sa 2026 edition ng Liga Baseball Philipinas(LBP) Celebrity Cup na nasa ikalawang edition pa lamang.

Natagalan ang mahabang paghihintay na matapos ang liga sa takdang iskedyul na inantala ng nakaraang mga sungit ng panahon ay nagka- harap na rin sa finals ang dalawang powehouse teams sa best- of-three finals ang Stars at Bulldogs.

Sa game one finals ng best- of-three ,naungusan ng KBA Stars ni Japanese national Philippine based Keiji Katayama ang UAAP 3-peat champion National University Bulldogs ni Wopsy Zamora 15-14 upang umusad ang tropang Keiji palapit sa titulo.

“In Championship Game 2, former UST pitcher Irvin Llave and former DLSU pitcher Lozano both delivered strong performances, but we narrowly lost 2–3, tying the series at one game apiece.

With a renewed focus, Our Stars came out firing in Game 3. “We showcased our true strength and resilience, defeating UAAP champions NU by a score of 11–1 in a seven-inning mercy-rule victory to capture the LBP championship!

Ang LBP Celebrity Cup ay naging matagumpay sa pagsisikap ng pamunan nito mula kay Chairman Wopsy Zamora,President Pepe Munoz at dumaraming bilang ng magbabalik na baseball fans sa galeriya ng diamond at stadium ng Rizal…HATAW PA LBP!
