ANIBERSAYO NG ‘PHIL. MUSLIM HISTORY AND HERITAGE’ GUGUNITAIN

BUMUO ng Situmiayat Wakhamsum Aldhikraa National Committee (SWANC) ang Office of the President (OP) para sa komemorasyon ng ika-650 anibersaryo ng Philippine Muslim History and Heritage.

Sa limang-pahinang Administrative Order No. 10 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, binanggit na pangunahing tututukan ng SWANC ang pagpaplano at pagpapatupad ng mga programa, aktibidad, at proyekto na may kinalaman dito.

“It is imperative to constitute a National Steering Committee that shall organize, coordinate and synchronize programs, projects and activities for the said commemoration rites,” ayon sa direktiba.

Binanggit din ng OP na gugunitain ang Philippine Muslim History and Heritage simula sa susunod na taon hanggang sa 2030.

Ipinaliwanag ng Palasyo na hindi lamang kilalanin sa paggunita sa aniberasyo ang papel ng Muslim Filipinos sa paghubog ng kasaysayan ng Pilipinas at pamana kundi itataguyod din nito ang local at national tourism.

Magsisilbing chairman ng komite ang National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) habang co-vice chairpersons naman ang kalihim ng National Commission on Muslim Filipinos at maging ang chairperson ng Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.

Magiging miyembro din ng SWANC ang mga kalihim ng ilang ahensya ng pamahalaan tulad ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of National Defense (DND), Department of Tourism (DOT), at Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU).
