Interpol maaring gamitin ng ICC sa maiisyuhan ng arrest warrant sa Pinas

MAARI palang gamitin ng International Criminal Court (ICC) ang International Police sa pag-aresto sa mga naiisyuhan nito ng arrest warrant sa mga bansang kasapi ng Interpol kahit ‘di miyembro ng ICC.

Nakasaad sa Article 4 (Publication and Circulation of Interpol Notices):

– The ICC-OTP shall have the right to request the Interpol General Secretariat to pulish and circulate to National Central Bureaus (NCBs) Interpol notices of all types for the facilitation of inquires: the red notices for the circulation of details of persons sought by the ICC-OTP and for perventing such persons from escaping prosecution; the blue notices for obtaining supplementary information, for instance on perpetrators or key witnesses; the yellow notices for tracing missing persons; and the black notices for facilitating identification of corpses.

Nakasaad naman sa Article 5 (Other assistance from Intepol):

– The ICC-OTP may seek the expertise of the Interpol General Secretariat’s specialized staff, in particular in matter related to the search for fugitives and to criminal analysis, subject to any provisions of confidentiality which may prove necessary and within the limits of available resources.

Sa madaling salita: Dahil ang Pilipinas ay member ng Interpol, at ang ICC ay may cooperation agreement sa Interpol maaring humingi ng tulong ang ICC sa Interpol na ipahuli ang mga akusado s korte nila. Obligado lahat ng Interpol members worlwide na ipatupad ito kahit hindi sila member ng ICC.

Sina dating Pangulo Rodrigo Duterte, dating PNP Chief ngayo’y Senador Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, dating Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre at ilan pang dating mga opisyal ng nakaraang Duterte administration ay iniimbestigahan ng ICC sa kasong ‘Crimes against humanity’ kaugnay ng “pekeng” war on drugs nila noon, kungsaan ayon sa human rights group ay mahigit 30,000 ang pinatay pero ayon sa datus ng Philippine National Police (PNP) higit 6,000 lang ang naging biktima.

Ang Pilipinas ay kumalas sa ICC nang imbestigahan nito sina Duterte.

Ayon sa ulat, nakapagsagawa na ng imbestigasyon ang ICC sa mga pamilya ng mga biktima ng war on drugs kahit hindi nakipag-coordinate ang gobyerno ni Marcos Jr..

Nakatakda na nga raw maglabas ang arrest warrant and ICC laban sa mga nabanggit na mga opisyal ng nakaraang administrasyon.

Ito marahil ang dahilan kung kaya’t kaliwa’t kanan na ang atake ni Duterte laban kay Marcos, Jr.

Bagama’t sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na hind niya ipatutupad ang arrest warrant ng ICC sa Pilipinas dahil hindi na nga miyembro ng ICC ang bansa, mapipilitan naman itong i-enforce kapag ang Interpol na ang kumilos para arestuhin ang mga nasasakdal sa ICC. Araguy!!!

Sinasabing anumang arawan o buwan ay maglalabas na ng arrest warrant ang ICC laban sa mga nabanggit na mga nakaraang opisyal ng bansa. Abangan!
