Thanks to the Kindness of Mabalacat City Hall Staff

After I got my salary from Mabalacat City Hall’s Small Department window for teaching last semester at Mabalacat City College (MCC) in Pampanga, my maternal home province, I lost balance and fell on the ground. I was about that time to go to the mayor’office.

My bag, the envelope containing my salary, my pair of eyeglasses and my MCC identification card were scattered on the pavement.

I was able to stand up with the help of a female guard (I forgot to get her name) and I got my bag, the envelope containing my salary and my MCC ID card. Then a kind man (I forgot to get his name) picked up my pair of eyeglasses and he fixed it. I was grateful to him but he hurriedly left. Thanks God my pair of eyeglasses was not broken.

Then Madel (I forgot to ask her surname) from Mabalacat City Hall’s Small Department (she was the one who assisted me in getting my salary) saw what happened. She hurriedly assisted me and gave me a cup of cold water.

I was very thankful for I only sustained a minor bruise. A kind lady invited me to come inside the office so I could be assisted and relaxed. The MCH staffers were so kind and showed their support to me, as if I were at home.

A lady (I forgot to get her name) from the clinic attended to my blood pressure. It was so hot day and my blood pressure was high, according to her. I was told to take a rest for a while in the air-conditioned reception section.

Thanks to Aprodite Valerio, Wright Nolasco Bratz and Rowel Jamie for giving assistance to me. It was Ms. Bratz who assisted me to see Mayor Atty. Geld Aquino’s secretary. Unfortunately, the kind-hearted mayor was not in the office that time for he was out attending to many activities, including strengthening child protection efforts held in MCC’s Cultural Hall in Barangay Dolores.

It was a very hectic yet productive day with Mayor Geld Aquino, committed to delivering continuous and dedicated public service for the people of Mabalacat City

I am looking forward to seeing the good mayor of the people of Mabalacat City soon.
