115 CHINESE NATIONALS NA DINAKIP SA ANTI-POGO OPERATIONS, IPADE-DEPORT

NAKATAKDANG ipa-deport ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang 115 Chinese nationals na nauna nang inaresto sa dalawang major anti-illegal POGO operations sa Zamboanga Sibugay at Cubao, Quezon City nitong Oktbre.
Ang deportees ay binubuo ng 62 katao na dinampot sa Zamboanga Sibugay at 53 sa Cubao.

Sila ay dadalhin sa China lulan ng China Southern Airlines flight CZ5308 sa NAIA Terminal 3, kasunod ng pag-isyu ng Summary Deportation Orders ng BI Board of Commissioners.

Ayon kay BI spokesperson Atty. Anisha Hassan, ang hakbang ay pruweba ng ‘bureau’s commitment to ensuring that foreign nationals involved in illegal activities face the consequences of their actions.’

“The BI will continue strengthening its enforcement operations and coordination with local and international law enforcement partners to combat illegal POGO operations, online scams and other transnational crimes,” dagdag pa niya. (JERRY S. TAN)
