Mercedes pumiyok sa akusang puro ‘porn’ ang ginagawang pelikula

NAKILALA ang award-winning actress sa mga obrang “Kinatay”, “Serbis” at “Thy Womb”, “Oro” at marami pang iba.
Nanalo rin siya bilang best actress noon sa pelikulang “Ang Kubo sa Kawayanan” sa 2015 World Premieres Film Festival.
Bagama’t madalas ma-cast sa drama movies, pinatunayan din niya ang kanyang versatility sa ibang genre tulad ng comedy sa Cinemalaya movie na “Ligo Na U, Lapit na Me”.
Umani rin ng papuri sa mga kritiko ang kanyang international movie na “Rosita” na hindi pa naipapalabas sa bansa.
Naging bahagi rin siya ng Korean horror movie na “Thirst”at huli siyang napanood sa TV series na “Huwag Kang Mangamba.”
Sa taong ito, nagbabalik si Mercedes para magpakitang gilas muli sa four-part Vivamax series na “Erotica Manila” na ginagampanan niya ang papel ng isang palaos na aktres na nagkaroon ng affair sa kanyang production assistant na binibigyang-buhay ni Vince Rillon.
Ani Mercedes, nag-enjoy daw siya at na-challenge sa pakikipagtrabaho kina Vince at sa director nilang si Law Fajardo.
“I enjoyed working with both Vince and Direk Law. First time ko with both of them and I had fun kasi they’re both very professional. Si Direk Law, he listens, very collaborative. He made sure I’m comfortable sa mga pinagawa niya sa’kin. He met me halfway in the erotic scenes.”
Hirit pa niya, naaliw din daw siya sa iskrip nang mabasa niya ito.
“When I got the script, inisip ko nga muna if I would accept it. But when I accepted na, I gave it my all. Maganda kasi yung episode namin, may touch ng comedy, which I like, kasi mga nagawa ko before, puro drama, so this one is different. But this is where I realized mas madali magdrama kaysa magpatawa ng tao. Very challenging din ang role ko for me, kasi loud siya, high energy, very outgoing, which is not really me,” esplika niya.
Sa mga nagsasabi namang porn ang ginagawa niyang pelikula sa Vivamax, pumiyok ang aktres.
“There’s really a thin line that divides erotica from pornography. Erotica is also sexually stimulating but much deeper, mas may importanteng story, mas may art than porn. Porn naman kasi has walang aesthetic value but just aimed to arouse its viewers sexually. In this series, the erotic scenes are all necessary to the story kaya ko tinanggap and we’re proud of it,” paliwanag niya.
Tungkol naman sa paniniwala niya sa pakikipag-sex, as a consenting adult, mas bet daw niya ang foreplay muna bago ang sexual act.
Mas natu-turn on daw siya sa words na ibinubulong sa kanya ng partner when they have a moment of intimacy.
Feeling daw kasi niya, ang lakas ng power ng words to get her sexually stimulated.
Sina Mercedes at Vince ay tampok sa episode na “The MILF and the OJT” sa “Erotica Manila”na mapapanood na sa Vivamax simula sa Enero 29.
