FEU, UST wagi sa UAAP girls’ volleyball

WINALIS ng Far Eastern University -Diliman ang De La Salle Zobel,25-17,25-17,25-10 sa UAAP Season 86 high school girl’s volleyball tournament sa Adamson University gym sa Ermita,Manila.

Ang Baby Tamaraws, na umangat ang kanilang rekord 8-3, makakaharap ang undefeated Adamson Baby Falcons (11-0) sa huling laban sa elimination round sa Linggo.

Kapag nagwagi ang Adamson, ay makakuha ng outright berth,paving the way para sa step-ladder format. Kapag FEU ang magtagumpay, Susundin ang Final Four traditional format.

Lovely Lopez at Clarisse Loresco naglunsad ng back-to-back attacks para ibigay sa Baby Tamaraws ang 20-8 lead sa third set.

“Actually, it’s a bit difficult for us to train properly this week because our DepEd training is at the same time,” Wika ni FEU-D coach RJ Del Rosario.

“But we will still prepare for Adamson because I have already seen a technique in my team. We need our mindset to beat Adamson, so that we are pretty sure of second place,” Dagdag pa.

Samantala, winasiwas ng University of Santo Tomas ang Ateneo, 25-13,25-10,25-15, para kabahagi sa No.2 spot FEU-D.

“We will still run through the game what we do in training, especially our game on Saturday is against National University Nazareth School (NUNS),” Tugon ni UST assistant coach Yani Fernandez.
