2 puganteng Koreano, inaresto ng BI FSU

INANUNSYO ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang pagkakaaresto ng dalawang lalaking wanted sa South Korea dahil sa mga seryosong krimen.

Iniulat ni BI fugitive search unit (FSU) Chief Rendel Ryan Sy ang pagkakaaresto nina Choi Suang Hwan at Kang Seunghoon sa magkakahiwalay na operasyon noong April 24 sa pakikipagtulungan ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).

Si Choi, 53 ay naaresto sa Brgy. Anunas, Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City alinsunod sa mission order na inilabas ni BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco.

Siya ay may warrant of arrest na inilabas ng Seoul Eastern District Court sa Korea dahil sa fraud na nagkakahalaga ng KW 75.5 million in Violation of Article 347- (1) of the Criminal Act of the Republic of Korea. Ang kanyang passport ay binawi na rin ng Korean government kung kaya siya ay isa ng undocumented alien.

Samantala, si Kang ay naaresto sa Jose Abad Santos Ave., Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City matapos pangalanan bilang pugante dahil sa warrant na inilabas ng Incheon District Court sa Korea laban sa kanya.

Siya ay wanted sa fraud na nagkakahalaga ng 850 million KRW na Violation on Act on the aggravated crime Punishment of Specific economic Crimes (3)1 -2 of the Criminal Act of the Republic of Korea.

Pinuri ni Tansingco ang pagkakaaresto ng dalawa at sinabing…”These arrests underscore our relentless dedication to ensuring the safety and security of our communities.
