ON the day of the death of Philippine superstar Nora Aunor, Milagros, one of her avid fans, is devastated by such news. It opens a Pandora’s box of emotions and memories for her idol — a bittersweet mix of some things she would rather forget.

Milagros’ daughter Babette forbids her to go to the public viewing as Milagros just had angioplasty and needs more time to recover. She plans to sneak out and convince her granddaughter Beatrice to go with her. Milagros knows that Babette still has ill feelings towards Nora because when she was young, Milagros lost her in a fan meet and was found a year later.

Beatrice is also huge KPop and PPop fan and she herself is also preparing to go for a fan meet of her fave KPop Idol Lee. Milagros explains and tries to win over Beatrice as she recalls the Noramania that she experienced before to the latter. The moments and exchange of stories between Milagros and Beatrice fosters the gap and similarities between the fans of different generations.

Beatrice finally agrees to bring her Lola to the wake but when they arrived, the public viewing has already been closed. Heartbroken, Beatrice promises to bring her grandma to the burial of Nora. Will they be successful?

What follows is a heartwarming story that goes beyond fandom — what is essential is how we are shaped by who we believe in and who our heroes are.
