“WE are proud to announce that Universidad de Manila has successfully made it to the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, with a commendable overall score of 57.7, placing us in the 1001–1500 bracket out of 2318 institutions globally.”
Ito ang anunsyo ni UdM President Dr. Felma Carlos-Tria, na nagsabing: ‘this milestone highlights our continuous efforts and growing commitment in aligning our programs, research, and institutional practices with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).’
Ang The Impact Rankings ay nag-i- ng mga pamantasan sa buong mundo base sa kanilang ambag sa sustainability, equity, and global development — at ang pagkilalang ito ay nagpapatunay ng kanilang kahalagahan at potensyal sa pandaigdigang entablado ng akademya.
Ayon kay Tria ang natamo ng UdM sa world university rankings ay kolektibong tagumpay ng university’s academic community, administrators, faculty, staff at mga estudyante kung saan ang kanilang dedikasyon para sa transpormatibong edukasyon at panlipunang impact ang dahilan ng pagkilalang ito.
“Let us continue to uphold the values of inclusive, quality and socially responsive education as we move forward to reach even greater heights in the years ahead,” panawagan pa ni Tria sa UdM community.
“?Incredibly grateful that Universidad de Manila made it to the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, positioned in the 1001-1500 range globally. We had no expectations as we applied for the firstq time this year, so I’m actually still in disbelief,” saad pa nito.
Nakuha ng UDM ang global ranking partikular sa katangi-tanging ambag nito sa Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 1 (No Poverty) in the range 201-300 range, 5 ( Gender Equality) in the range 401-600 range, 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) in the 601-800 range, and 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) in the 801-1000 range. Sa mga rankings na ito kinumpirma ng UDM ang strongest areas of impact, base sa performance across metrics.
Nabatid na may 2,526 universities mula 130 countries o territories ang lumahok sa taong ito THE Impact Rankings na nag-iisang only global rankings na kumikilatis ng pag-unlad ng mga universities’ base sa UN Sustainable Development Goals, gamit ang mga indicators across research, stewardship, outreach, and teaching.
