Kris Aquino says her health issue “has become more complex”

DEPRESSING naman ang balita tungkol kay Kris Aquino na nagbabadyang she has symptoms showing that she’s “at the initial stage of lupus.”

Anyhow, hindi pa rin siya nawawalan ng pag-asa.

“Bawal sumuko, tuloy pa rin ang laban,” she said optimistically.

Anyhow, nasabi ni Kris na wala raw improvement ang kanyang condition since her last post in November last year.

Nakararamdam pa rin daw siya ng panghihina since Thanksgiving at wala pa ring ganang kumain, at puro gatas lang ang iniinom.

“I was having dizzy spells, and my BP (blood pressure) had very weird fluctuations,” she intimated.

To date, she has lost a lot of weight. Going down to 92 Ibs which made her hesitant to post pictures on social media.

Nakatira siya sa U.S. since June 2022 para magpa-treat sa kanyang autoimmune diseases.

“I cried nonstop when I got my blood panel results. My Churg Strauss/EGPA is still being treated, but to add to it my CREST SYNDROME is now in full ACTIVE mode,” she averred.

Anyhow, Kris is a brave woman. The fact that she is now starting to exhibit another autoimmune connective tissue disease, appears not to faze her.

“It’s highly likely based on my ANA count, my high inflammatory numbers, my anemia, my now constant elevated blood pressure at night, and the consistent

appearance of the “butterfly rash” on my face that I’m at the initial stage of SLE (Systemic lupus erythematosus) or what’s commonly known as lupus.”

Lupus is an autoimmune disease where the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissues and organs in the body.

Nagku-cause ito ng damage at inflammation sa iba’t ibang parte ng kanyang katawan, kasama na ang joints, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, blood cells, at brain.

Kailangan niya ngayong mag-gain ng weight para mabigyan siya ng drug na Rituxin or Rituximad.

“It’s a risk because it’s normally given with steroids which my body reacts very adversely to.

“But my faith is still strong.

“BAWAL SUMUKO”

“BUT I promised my sons & my sisters- I won’t be a wimp.

“And I’m promising all my friends plus all who continue to pray for me: bawal sumuko, tuloy pa rin ang laban.”

Lately, binista si Kris ng mga kaibigan niyang sina Bela Padilla at Kim Chiu habang sila’y on holiday in the States.

Nakapagpapabata ang pag-aalaga ng apo

KAPAG may time siya, priority ni Ms. Ellen Campos ang pag-aalaga sa kanyang dalawang apo.

Busy kasi ang kanyang anak sa pagtatrabaho kaya inaalagaan nilang mag-asawa ang kanilang mga apo.

Sang-ayon sa kanya, there is nothing more fulfilling than taking care of her grandchildren.

Parang nagbabalik daw yung panahong bata pa siya at kasalukuyang nagsisimulang magpamilya.

Totoo ka, nakapagpapabata ang pag-aalaga ng apo.

Wala na raw tatalo sa kaligayahang kanyang nadarama kapag kapiling niya ang kanyang mga apo.

Besides, nakatutulong din daw siya sa kanyang anak na busy rin sa pagtatrabaho.

Oo nga naman.

Well, hindi nakapagtatakang bata pang tingnan si Ellen. Taking care of her grandchildren is truly very satisfying and ultimately fulfilling.
