Blu Girls sasabak sa Canada Cup

ANG Philippine Blu Girls ay nakatakdang sumabak sa Canada Cup International Softball Championsjip ngayon Linggo sa Surrey, British Columbia.

Ang team ay pamumunuan ni head coach Ana Santiago, ang Blu Girls ay nasasakupan ng Pool A kasama ang Canada,Mexico,Israel,New Zealand at Hong Kong.

Pool B ay binobou ng Chinse Taipei, , Czech Republic, Australia, Greece, TC Colorado at Saskatchewan 222s.

Ang Blu Girls ay umapak sa plate Lunes ng umaga laban sa New Zealand,kasunod ang HongKong at host Canada sa Hulyo 2,Israel sa Hulyo 3, at Mexico sa Hulyo 4.

Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) president Jean Henri Lhuiller ay excited para sa Blu Girls’ latest stint.

“I am incredibly excited to see the girls in action. I’ve watched them grow their skills and talents to the best of their ability, and I have no doubt they will make us proud again,”Wika nya.

Ito ang unang tournament para sa national softball team matapos sumabak ang Blu Boys sa XVIII Men’s Softball World Cup Group A stage sa Mexico nakaraang buwan.
