Articles of Impeachment vs VP Sara kumpirmadong nasa Senado na!

PORMAL nang naipadala ng House of Representatives noong Miyer-kules ng gabi, Mayo 13, sa Senado ang Articles of Impeachment laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

Dakong 7:22 ng gabi nang ito ay ibigay ni House Secretary General Atty. Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil kay Senate Secretary Mark Llandro “Dong” Mendoza.

Ayon kay Garafil, isinumite nila sa Senado ang Articles of Impeachment matapos makumpleto ang reproduction nito, collation, at verification ng impeachment records at mga supporting attachment.

Inabot ng libu-libong pahina ang mga dokumentong ibinigay ng Kamara sa Senado dahil binubuo ito ng mga documentary evidence, transcripts, certifications, Commission on Audit findings, financial records, affidavits, at committee proceedings na natipon sa impeachment proceedings na pinangunahan ng House Committee on Justice.

Kasama ring ibinigay ng Kamara sa Senado ang selyadong kahon mula sa Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) na naglalaman ng income tax returns ni VP Sara at mister na si Atty. Manases Carpio.

Bunsod nito ay inaasahan ang pag-convene ng Senado bilang impeachment court upang isailalim sa paglilitis si VP Duterte.
