The 2026 editions of IFEX Philippines and Manila FAME, the country’s premier food and design trade shows organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), have generated substantial positive outcomes, including significant boosts to the Philippine export industry, global buyer engagement, and a strong push for sustainability and design innovation.

Both events serve as critical platforms for connecting Philippine micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with international markets, resulting in tangible economic benefits.

IFEX (International Food Exhibition) Philippines 2026, the 19th edition, is the country’s biggest international food and ingredients trade show and is considered CITEM’s long-running trade event and banner sourcing program for the Philippines and global food.

Manila FAME 2026 saw a remarkable increase in international buyer registrations and subbstantial increase in local buyer registrations compared to its previous edition, highlighting a growing global interest in Filipino products.

Likewise, both events maximize business-to-business (B2B) opportunities through dedicated matching sessions, fostering strategic partnerships and market expansion for local enterprises.

It is interesting to note that the physical events are complemented by year-round digital platforms, IFEXConnect and FAME+, which serve as 24/7 sourcing hubs and digital storefronts, further extending the global reach of Filipino brands.
