Tumanggap ng papuri mula kina House Speaker Faustino “Bodjie” Dy at Majority Floor Leader Ferdinand Alexander Marcos sa pagkakaroon ng perfect attendance ni Cagayan 3rd District Representative Jojo Lara sa first regular session ng 20th Congress.

Rep. Lara is among 98 other House members who attended all 39 plenary sessions of the House of Representatives and the only one in Region 2.

He was recognized as one of the chamber’s most dedicated and hardworking members, having been present and actively participating in all plenary sessions, committee hearings, and legislative deliberations from July 28, 2025 to the adjournment of the First Regular Session.

In its commendation, the House leadership cited Cong. Lara as instrumental in the passage of many vital national bills approved on Third Reading during the First Regular Session. His consistent presence and active interpellation, authorship, and co-authorship of priority measures significantly contributed to the House’s legislative productivity.

“Public service demands presence, diligence, and commitment. My perfect attendance is not for recognition, but a fulfillment of the mandate given to me by the people of the Third District of Cagayan. Every session I attend is a chance to bring the voice of Tuguegarao City, Amulung, Enrile, Iguig, Peñablanca, Solana, and Tuao to the national agenda,” Rep. Lara said.

Rep. Lara, who is now on his third term as representative of Cagayan’s 3rd District under Lakas-CMD and a member of the Majority bloc, reaffirmed his commitment to support the legislative agenda focused on economic recovery, agriculture, education, health, and infrastructure development for Northern Luzon.
