PH swimming federation elections nakatakda sa Hunyo 15

ANG Philippine Swimming,Inc. (PSI) ay pipili nang kanilang bagong board of trustees sa Hunyo 15. Inanunsyo ng Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) Martes.

Ang World Aquatics (dating FINA) ay inaprobahan ang election proceedings na nolikha ng Electoral Committee.

Ang miyembro ng Electoral Committee ay sina POC secretary-general Atty. Edwin Gastanes as chairperson, at POC legal chief Atty. Wharton Chan, Atty. Avelino Sumagui at Atty. Marcus Antonius Andaya miyembro. Ang kanilang appointment ay inaprobahan ng World Aquatics sa pamamagitan ng kanilang Executive Director Brent Nowicki.

“The guidelines and policies have been established in such a way that they adhere to IF policies and certified instructions and are comprehensively inclusive of all stakeholders—regional representation and the sport’s disciplines,” Wika ni Chan sa statement.

Labing isang miyembro ng board of trustees ang ihahalal base sa geographical sector – plus one member mula sa kinatawan ng diving,open water swimming,water polo at artistic swimming.

Ang geographical sector ay binobuu ng tig-dalawa mula sa Area 1 (National Capital Region), Area 2 (Regions 1, 2, 3 and Cordillera Autonomous Region), Area 3 (Regions 4-A, 4-B and 5), Area 4 (Regions 6, 7 and 8) at Area 5 (Regions 9, 10, 11, 12, CARAGA at Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao).

Ang luma at bagong clubs ay kailangan mag register sa pamamagitan ng Electoral Committee email philaquatics.elecom2023@gmail.com.

Ang oras at venue ng June 15 elections ay ianunsyo sa lalong madaling panahon.
