La Salle nakahandang depensahan ang titulo sa D-League

NAKAHANDANG depensahan ng De La Salle-EccoOil ang kanilang titulo laban sa Centro Escolar University (CEU) sa pag sikad ng PBA D-League Aspirants Cup ngayong Huwebes sa Ynares Sports Arena sa Pasig.

Ito ang unang opisyal coaching job ni Topex Robinson bilang bagong head coach ng Green Archers, na nagkampeon sa nakaranng edition ng tournament matapos idispatsa ang Marinerong Pilipino sa deciding Game 3 ng finals, 91-78.

Ang Marinerong Pilipino ay nakipag tied-up sa San Beda Red Lions ngayon at isa sa pitong competing teams kasama ang defending NCAA men’s basketball champion Wang’s Basketball-Letran, AMA Online, Perpetual Help University, at ang Philippine Sports Performance Fitness gym.

Ang La Salle vs CEU encounter ang main event sa opening day alas 4: ng hapon,pagkatapos ng Marinerong Pilipino- San Beda versus Philippine Sports Performance Fitness gym na nakatakda alas 2:00 ng hapon.

“Not just La Salle, San Beda, and Letran because the other collegiate teams are also beefing up their lineups,” Wika ni PBA Deputy Commissioner Eric Castro sa Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum Martes sa conference hall ng the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

“Magaganda ang games natin because it’s the team’s way of developing their players in preparation for their respective mother leagues.”

Lahat ng laro ay mapapanoud live sa One Sports at PBA Rush, at lalaruin sa Ynares gym sa Pasig, at FilOil- Centre tuwing Martes at Huwebes.

Lahat ng pitong teams maglalaro single-round robin, na ang top two teams ay may karapatang maglaro sa semis.

Samantala, ang third at fourth teams ay mag-enjoy sa twice-to-beat advantage kontra fifth at sixth teams sa crossover quarterfinals phase.

Ang parehong semis at finals ay best-of-three series.

Sinabi ni Castro na ang D-League ay mayroon lang isang conference ngayong taon at sa 2024.
