STRATEGIC MEETING: In relation with the directive of Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno to expedite the delivery of backlog cargoes

A coordination meeting presided by Assistant Commissioner Atty Vincent Philip C “Jet” Maronilla and NAIA District Collector Atty Maria Yasmin M Obillos Mapa, attended by the Port Operations Director Melon Santiago, Chief of the AOCD, Atty Julito Doria, AOCG Depcom Uvero’s Chief of Staff Atty Rod H Pino, CBWD Chief Atty Wally Ann Yumol, Special Deputy Collector Dr Siegfred L Manaois, Asst SDC Ms Irene Moreno Concio and Paircargo Warehouse Operations Manager Mr Chris Avila was recently held at the Paircargo Assessment Composite Office (PAIRCARGO) located at the City of Paranaque.

The primary purpose of the engagement is to systematically roll out and monitor the final phase of the strategic measures implemented by Customs NAIA under the leadership of District Collector Atty Yasmin Obillos Mapa, that aims to finally resolve the delayed flow of the remaining backlog cargoes within the mentioned customs zone.
