PDEA chief Villanueva nagpositibo sa Covid-19

KINUMPIRMA ni Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) director general Wilkins Villanueva na nagpositibo siya sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Sa isang online post, inihayag ng opisyal ang pagpo-positibo niya sa virus matapos matanggap ang resulta ng RT-PCR test sa Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center.
“As I was preparing for the Senate Inquiry on Monday, I took my RT-PCR at the Chinese General Hospital yesterday as part of the requirement. This morning I received the result. I TESTED POSITIVE,” ayon kay Villanueva.
Humingi ng paumanhin si Villanueva sa mga nakasalamuha sa nakalipas na araw, at umapela na agad nang mag-quarantine.
“I’m sorry to all the people that I had close contact for the past days. Please take necessary precaution.”
“I will be back, isolated lang po ako. Please pray for those who were also tested positive. Sana malampasan naming lahat ito. GOD BLESS US ALL!”
Nakatakda sanang humarap sa imbestigasyon ng Senado ang opisyal kasunod ng engkwentro sa pagitan ng ilang operatiba ng PDEA at Quezon City Police District.
Matatandaang nagsagupaan sa bahagi ng Commonwealth Avenue noong Pebrero ang dalawang hanay sa gitna ng umano’y buy-bust operation.
Apat ang namatay sa nangyaring insidente. Dalawa ang mula sa hanay ng PDEA, at dalawa ang mula sa grupo ng pulisya.
