GM Joey Antonio magsasagawa ng simul chess sa Quezon City

MAGSASAGAWA si 13-times National Open Champion Grandmaster (GM) Rogelio “Joey” Antonio Jr. ng simultaneous chess exhibition sa Nobyembre 10 sa ika-4 na distrito ng Lungsod Quezon.

“Play against GM (Rogelio) Antonio and help the Quezon City fourth district chess players at the same time,” Wika ni Mr. Rudy Rivera, ang brain child ng nasabing grass roots chess activity.

“November 10 is the target date to launch the simultaneous chess exhibition in Barangay Tatalon, Damayang Lagi and Dona Imelda.” dagdag pa ni G. Rivera na isa ding chess champion sa Quezon City.

Ang layunin ng nasabing event ay ma challenge ang mga participants sa problem-solving abilities kung saan punong abala si Quezon City fourth district councilor Janet “Babes” Malaya sa pakikipagtulungan ng Barkadahan Para sa Bansa Party List sa gabay nina Atty. Nolan V. Banda at Dr. Ariel B. Potot.

“We’re doing this to promote chess in the grassroots level,” sabi ni Antonio, 2015 Quezon City most outstanding citizen awardee sa field ng sports.
