NASUNGKIT ng Filipino British Hannah White ang limang medalya sa 2022 Ho Chi Minh Age Group Championship Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
White, na SBC International School-Vietnam standout, ay nagdeliver ng 2 silver at three bronze medals para sa bansa sa girls’ 10-year category.
“It has been a long week of competition for Hannah, and this competition made her realise that there are a lot more challenging swimmers in the other country,”Wika ni Jenny White — ang ina at coach ni Hannah.
Sa individual events, White na miyembro ng Swim League of the Philippines at Behrouz Elite Swimming Team, nagbulsa ng silver sa girls’ 10-year 100m freestyle sa one minute at 15.87.
Nagbulsa rin ng 2 bronze medal sa 100m individual medley (1;26.02) at 50m freestyle (33.05) events.
“Our home grassroots, a Swim League Philippines campaigner, never gave up. She has shown that she can bring the pride of her country. It was a difficult and very, very challenging competition for Hannah White, but she stood up to win the medals and beat all her PB’s and became the top 3 in the city,” Dagdag pa ni Jenny.
Sa team events, Natimbog ni White ang silver sa 200m medley relay at bronze sa 200m freestyle relay.
“We would like to thank you, District 5 team, especially to coach Diem and Sam and all the coaches that support Hannah to be part of the team here in Vietnam. Hannah you are a star. Never give up,” Tugon ni Jenny.
Si Hannah ay nakababatang kapatid nina Heather at Ruben— na parehong gold medalist sa nakaraang Philippine National Age-Group Championship na ginanap sa Rizal Memorial Complex.
