Suzara muling nahalal na PNVF president

MULING nahalal si Ramon “Tats” Suzara bilang pangulo ng Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF).

Ang election ay naganap sa national sports association’s board meeting sa The Vault sa Bonifacio Global City.

“I would like to thank the PNVF board for their trust and confidence on me leading the federation. Rest assured, I will work toward making volleyball better and our national athletes stronger in the next two years,”Wika ni Suzara.

Pinasalamatan rin nya ang Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) at ang Philippine Sports Commission sa suporta sa PNVF.

Samantala, Sen.Alan Peter Cayetano ay inakyat na PNVF’s chairman emeritus, habang si Dr. Arnel Hajan ng Isabela City (Basilan) ang pinangalanang chairman.

Pinangalanan rin si Cayetano na head of delegation ng national volleyball team sa Cambodia 32nd Southeast Asian Games sa Mayo at Senator Pia Cayetano sa Hangzhou Asian Games sa Setyembre.

Muli ring nahalal sina Richard “Ricky” Palou as Vice President, Donaldo Caringal as Secretary-General, Tuguegarao City Councilor Maria Rosario “Charo” Soriano of as Treasurer at Yul Benosa as Auditor.

Si Leyte fourth District Rep. Richard Gomez ang itinalagang deputy secretary-general in charge ng international competitions.

Pasok sa board ay sina Anthony “Tonyboy” Liao, Carmela Arcolas Gamboa, Rodrigo Roque, Fr. Victor “Vic” Calvo Jr., Sisinio Ariel Paredes, Karl Jeffrey Chan and Michael Angelo “Miko” Vargas.

Pinalitan ni Vargas si Atty. Wharton Chan, na ang kanyang two=year term na POC caretaker / representative ay nag expire.

Ang election Martes ay pinangasiwaan ni Atty. Alfredo Villamor Jr. at sinaksihan ni POC representative Karen Tanchanco Caballero.
