PATAFA pinuri si Obiena

PINURI ng Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) si pole vaulter Ernest John “EJ” Obiena na kumita ng slot para sa 2024 Paris Olympics.

Ang world’s No.3 Obiena ay nalundag ang Olympic standard na 5.82 meters para maangkin ang silver medal sa 2023 Stockholm Diamond League sa Sweden Hulyo 2.

Worlds No.1 Armand “Mondo” Duplantis ng Sweden nag-rehistro ng 6.05 para ibulsa ang gold medal habang si Pal Haugen Lillefosse ng Norway (5.72m) nagkasya sa bronze medal.
